Mr. François Houÿez

European Organisation for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS)

François Houÿez is Director of Treatment Information and Access at the European Organisation for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS).
Mr. Houÿez represents EURORDIS at the Patients’ and Consumers’ Working Party (PCWP) at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and at the Health Technology Assessment Network.
He supervises Eurordis’s programme of Community Advisory Boards and coordinates the European Network of Rare Diseases Help Lines.
His competences include compassionate use, marketing authorisation, pharmacovigilance, HTA and pricing, cross-border care, patient engagement, off-label use, drug repurposing.
François has also worked both as a volunteer and as an employee for a variety of organisations fighting AIDS at national and international levels. François is also a patient.
